Job Description: We are currently seeking a Senior Electrical Engineering Technologist who has direct experience with building electrical systems design and implementation, including basic power, lighting, structured cable systems, life safety systems, etc. We are also open to hiring an experienced Electrical Designer without certification qualifications with extensive experience in the field who is able to become registered. Work involves design and drafting for municipal, commercial, multi-residential, and industrial building services. Qualifications: Minimum of 5 years of related electrical engineering experience. Electrical design experience in low and medium voltage systems, lighting, power distribution, grounding, fire alarm, communications and security systems, structured cable systems for residential, commercial, multi-residential, and industrial facilities. Proficiency in AutoCAD is mandatory. Revit and other software applications is an asset. Must be familiar with current Canadian electrical codes and standards. Site Completions Coordinator:

Job Description: The company is seeking a Site Completions Coordinator under the direction of the Lead Completions Coordinator, the Site Completions Coordinator must plan, direct and execute daily Completions for the construction site. The incumbent will liaise with the Lead Completions Coordinator on a regular basis to prioritize objectives while also working with field construction supervision, field Quality Assurance and Contractor equivalent personnel to drive a progressive completions process. Responsibilities: Liaise with the Lead Completions Coordinator to facilitate site implementation of Completions plans and processes and to prioritize / direct completions scopes of work. Coordinate the acceptance / agreement of Completions documentation including, but not limited to, Mechanical Completion Certificates, Punch list forms, Transfer of Responsibility Certificates, Handovers, etc. Steward delivery of key project components through Mechanical Completion. Coordinate walk-downs of completed scope at site between Companys Quality / Construction team and Companys Contractors. Monitor the initial implementation and regular use of the Project Completions System, Continuum Edge, by Companys Contractors to ensure timeliness and accuracy of reporting. Monitor the implementation of preservation plans and procedures by Companys Contractors. Work with Companys Quality / Construction team as well as Companys Contractors to close out and sign- off punch list items. Support the Project Delivery Team at site and contractors in fulfilling the system completion deliverable scope. Provide Company management with site overview of Component completion status. Requirements: Graduation from a recognized university with a Bachelors Degree in Engineering (Mechanical/Electrical) with eligibility for membership in PEGNL or equivalent amount of education and experience. 10 to 15 years successful experience on delivery of major Electrical/Mechanical packages for large projects; with technical as well as construction and commissioning experience. Previous experience of supporting site teams on large construction projects as a multi-discipline Completions Coordinator. Familiarity required with codes and standards applicable with the discipline (Electrical/Mechanical). Demonstrated experience with identification of construction problems and resolution demonstrated ability to verbally and graphically convey problem resolution to engineering and construction parties experience in developing and implementation of mechanical completion, plans, and procedures. Possess an excellent and demonstrated commitment to safety and environmental. Must be willing to travel to Labrador sites for extended periods.
